To stop the growing trend of English and ignoring Hindi in India, Hindi Day was started to be celebrated. Hindi is not the national language of India but it considers the official language of India.
To promote Hindi, Hindi is used in place of English in all government offices. It is a special day to remember this day with importance because it is also a sign of the independence of the countrymen after independence from the British. To create awareness about the Hindi language, other programs and competitions including quizzes, debates, essay writing, and poster making are organized.
